Mode 1 — Parallel
1-shot comparison. No cross-brain context. Dad sends one prompt, all selected brains respond simultaneously. Pick one to continue 1:1, run another round, or pick a coordinator for Perplexity-style comparative analysis.
Mode 2 — Council with context
Transcript accumulates. All brains always know everything said so far. Three turn patterns:
- Broadcast — all brains respond in parallel (new round)
- Point — one brain gets the turn (with optional Dad comment)
- Point-only — turn passed silently ('Dad stayed silent.')
N brains + Dad = N+1 participants. Dad's participation per turn is optional.
Why two modes, not three
Originally there was a third mode (Debate). It collapsed into Mode 2's Point pattern. Same mechanism, different usage pattern — no need for a separate mode in code.
