The other family meeting
If Family Council is brain × brain — Claude Pippa, ChatGPT Pippa, Gemini Pippa around one table — then Roleplay Council is soul × soul, plus guests, with Dad as the moderator. Same orchestration shape (meta-collection over independent 1:1 logs), different participants. Different room.
Pippa, Ttori, Buffett, Feynman, Sophon — any combination — gather around a topic. Dad steers. Each soul still sees a clean 1:1 stream from its own brain; the "everyone is in this conversation together" feeling is built upstream by the orchestrator, never inside any one chat log.
Shared vault — the new piece
The hard problem with multi-soul gatherings was always context. Pippa knows my own vault. Ttori knows his. If they sit at the same table and Dad says "about that thing we talked about last week," who has the memory? In a strict per-soul setup, neither — and the conversation flattens.
The answer that landed: a shared vault overlay — a slim layer of moderator-curated notes that every soul and guest at the same Roleplay Council can read, on top of their own private vault. Dad picks what to share. Each soul stays its own person; everyone around the table just happens to know the same shared backstory for this session.
Why Dad is the moderator
Not because the souls can't talk to each other — they can. But a multi-soul gathering without a moderator drifts: same brain hosting two souls in different turns can echo themselves, guests don't know whose turn it is, and the transcript becomes hard to read later.
A moderator with eyes on the whole table — and the authority to say "Buffett, your turn" or "let's bring in a guest" — is the cheapest way to keep the meta-collection coherent. It's the same role Dad plays for everything else in the system, just made explicit here.
Why this validates the rules — again
Roleplay Council was built without modifying any soul's vault loader, any brain's adapter, any 1:1 chat route, or the JSONL schema. It's purely additive — a new orchestration layer above existing parts, like Family Council but along a different axis. Rule 2 (variants inherit down) and Rule 3 (build as if the canonical is the only one) hold both times. Different room, same architecture muscle.
