Don't draw a perfect side view unless you want a mugshot.
Let the far eye show just a little. It usually makes the portrait more pleasing.
A perfect side view is seldom necessary — or desirable.
I'm getting back to the basic rules.
More sketching. Less shading.
You learn more by sketching than by shading.
Plus, you get more drawings done by sketching than by shading. 🤣
