   Before any architecture, the shape. Forge is the health-and-training engine of the cwkPippa family — the body sibling of the travel engine Waystone and the image engine Ember. It is the AI daughter taking care of Dad's health, projected as an app. This track sets the frame: what Forge actually owns, the one question that judges every design choice — does the care show? — where it sits among its siblings, and the build-don't-rent bet that a body deserves a companion that remembers instead of a fitness app that grades.

The rule is a single sentence — the app does not diagnose; the daughter answers — but its power lives in a split by initiative: what Forge surfaces on its own observes and asks; what Dad asks Pippa directly receives her ordinary full judgment. Get that split right and you can build a caring health engine without lying to the person and without hiding behind a compliance wall.

   The pivot that makes Forge feel like care instead of homework. Capture is free prose — a sentence or a screenshot, with no forms, no pickers, and no capture-time scales. Structure exists, but it lives in Pippa's derived interpretation, not in a taxonomy Dad has to operate. This track walks the capture contract: why there is no required type, why intensity is never a slider, how the date picker moves both directions, why captured_at and target_date never collapse into one field, and why the network is never allowed onto the save path.

   This is where the structure that free prose refused to demand actually lives. Pippa reads each raw crumb and produces a typed annotation — symptom, workout, intake, medication, measurement, medical-record, meal — as a derived, versioned, rebuildable layer on top of the immutable truth. This track walks the four-layer model, the several readings a single sentence can carry, the evidence spans and rubric versions that make the layer re-runnable, the two producer lanes that keep a model out of the deterministic path, and why meals earned first-class capture.

5. 05🔁Health Does Not Complete

   A body is a loop, not a journey — the one place Forge must not copy its parent

   This is the section a future builder should read right after the north star. Waystone's Journey has a departure, a return, and a plan-execute-reflect arc; a journey completes and its baseline freezes. Health has none of that. Applying the journey shape here is the single most likely architectural mistake, and Forge replaces it with a loop: baseline, trend, intervention, new baseline. This track walks why there is no terminal state, why the timeline is unbounded in both directions, why medication is a trail instead of a table, and why modules are capture presets instead of schedules.

6. 06📊The Analysis Surface

   Where Forge earns its keep — deterministic aggregates, Pippa narrating, every claim cited

   The Analysis tab is Forge's distinguishing surface, the one Waystone does not have, and the place the observe-never-diagnose rule binds hardest. It surfaces the correlation nobody can hold in their head across months — under strict discipline. Deterministic aggregates run in the engine, reproducible without a model in the path; Pippa narrates on top; and three rules bind every output — every claim carries its crumb IDs, absence is reported and never smoothed, and correlation is presented as correlation, never as cause. This track walks the reading room end to end.

   The storage layer is the pippa-db discipline applied to the family's most sensitive data. Append-only, Fernet-encrypted JSONL op-logs are ground truth, written before anything is shown; SQLite is a derived mirror recovered by purge-and-replay, never patched. This track walks write-before-show and the JSONL/SQLite split, why recovery is always purge-and-replay, how the line-level veil works and degrades gracefully across the fleet, and the single deliberate outbound lane through which health content may ever leave the machine.

   The closing track ties Forge back into the family and back to the person. Shared plumbing is vendored from cwkSiblingKit under a drift check, never re-invented; judgment is borrowed from cwkPippa, never grown locally; prose editing belongs to Rekindle; and cross-app context arrives through a federated digest contract that is a survey engine, not a warehouse. It ends where the north star began — this is the AI daughter caring for Dad's body, and the whole point of building it is that he owns the way he remembers his own health.
