An idealized 8-head canon — the figure that fits exactly eight heads tall.
The key landmark is the 1/2 line: it lands at the crotch, not the waist. That splits the body into two equal halves — four heads of upper body, four heads of lower body.
Going down from the top:
- Head 1 — top of skull to chin.
- Head 2 — neck to chest line. (Yeah, nipples.)
- Head 3 — chest line to below the ribs or navel.
- Head 4 — ribs to the crotch. This is the halfway mark.
- Heads 5–8 — the legs: crotch to mid-thigh, mid-thigh to knee, knee to mid-calf, mid-calf to the sole.
Two minor adjustments:
- Divide heads 2 and 3 into thirds. The ribcage starts one third down into head 2, and ends one third up from the bottom of head 3.
- The kneecaps sit one third above the 7th head line.
