Cowork는 메시지보다 파일로 일하는 Claude야

Claude Cowork는 Claude Desktop에서 작업 폴더와 목표를 받아 결과물을 디스크에 만드는 에이전트 모드야. 채팅처럼 대화를 주고받지만 중심은 답변 문장이 아니라 실제 파일이야. 계획을 승인한 뒤 다른 일을 하고 돌아오면 문서와 표, 분석 결과가 폴더에 남아 있어.

Cowork를 일반 채팅과 가르는 특징은 세 가지야. 지정한 폴더의 파일을 직접 읽고 정리하며, 독립적인 일은 여러 하위 에이전트로 나누고, 승인 뒤에는 사용자가 자리를 비워도 계속 작업해. 복사해 붙일 필요 없이 입력과 결과가 같은 작업 공간에 남지.

Claude Chat은 화면에서 대화를 나누는 곳, Cowork는 책상에서 파일 작업을 맡기는 곳, Dispatch는 휴대폰에서 Mac으로 일을 보내는 곳이라고 구분하면 쉬워. 같은 Claude지만 사용자가 어디에 있고 결과가 무엇인지에 따라 운영 방식이 달라져.

Cowork는 2026년 1월 12일 Claude Desktop에 추가됐어. 채팅의 부속 기능이 아니라 파일을 중심으로 일하는 별도 작업 방식이야.
